ABOUT
a character thought up by NPO first and foremost! i felt that should be noted. he is listed here because of his relation to Sootpaw and also because he seems to have been removed from NPO's adoption thread.

daring, ambitious, and somewhat self-absorbed - but beyond that, his personality is at least somewhat up to you. it's worth noting that in his youth, for whatever reason, he was a bit of a ladykiller - very flirty with the she-cats, until, that is, he caught the eye of the young Patchpaw (later Halfpatch) and they were mated for a while. this ended when she was forced to return to the position of full medicine cat in the wake of Daisyface's death, and afterwards he eventually may have returned to his flirty ways, even if he may have been a little more subdued about it (depending on how much you think he loved Halfpatch.)

it was some time later - 9-12 moons prior to present day (up to you) - that he would catch the eye of an older she-cat, Mousestorm. shocked to be pursued for once instead of pursuing someone else, it would not be long before he fell to her charms and the two were mated before the moon was up. it was not long at all before Mousestorm was expecting kits. (8 moons before present day - this is set in stone, because of Sootpaw's age.)

at least during Sootpaw's kithood, though Beefur tried to be a good parent, he ended up paying less attention to the kit than he should have, as did Mousestorm. as a result, Sootpaw is distant with both of their parents and their familial bond is strained. whether or not Beefur wishes to fix this is up to you.

ABOUT
Starlingheart's sister Swannose was actually archived, and she went missing ICly and was presumed deceased by the Clan. that said, i'm still leaving Starlingheart up for adoption just in case anyone likes her name/personality/etc, and perhaps wants a more tragic character - she and Swannose had been fighting, and she died before they could make up. i'd also possibly be willing to have Swannose 'turn back up' and re-create her (having her not deceased after all, just having left?) if it was really desired (as I archived her mainly only because of a lack of relations to other active characters.)

PERSONALITY
positive - loyal, intelligent, dutiful, diligent, good leader
neutral - pragmatic, ambitious, distant
negative - manipulative, cold, cares little for most others (believes in the good of the Clan, but does not care so much for individuals)
ABOUT
He is a well-respected warrior, and he earned his warrior name for his skills in battle - but he is not entirely well-liked. He has the sort of personality that makes others tend to avoid him when it comes to anything other than matters of business - so it came as a big surprise when he and the well-liked Yewflower became mates and eventually had kits. He was a somewhat kinder cat before his mate's death - however, when she died of an illness first caught by her son, Sedgekit, Gorsefang seemed to blame his son, and neglected him thoroughly afterwards, focusing his affections instead on Rainpaw. Named as a kit for his scraggly-looking pelt, like gorse fronds (though this pelt seems to have become somewhat sleeker with time, as Gorsefang takes care to groom it.)

Very recently, Rainpaw died in a freak accident at the Earth's Edge. How Gorsefang has reacted to this is up to you.
