Amberwhisker and her sister, Shadefrost, were born to a loner she-cat on the outskirts of SkyClan's old territory. Their mother had named them Sienna and Payne, respectively. But the kits' time with her was short; before they had reached their third moon, she was struck and killed on a thunderpath. Luckily for the two she-kits, they were soon discovered by the young tom Bearnose, then Bearpaw, who led them to the safety of his clan's camp. It was there that they were taken in by his aunt, the late SkyClan queen, Mossflower.

Amberwhisker keeps mostly to herself, save for her family and a small circle of friends. However, she is in fact interested in the goings-on within the clan, she just chooses to silently watch them from a safe distance. Anything more would make her seem obtuse, and the last thing she wants is to draw attention to herself and have a crowd gathering around her. Her goal is to gain as much knowledge about the world as she can, and to use what she learns to serve her clan and to lead a successful, fulfilling life.  But these days her path is not so certain, and she fears what will become of her relationship with her sister.

Amberwhisker's a pretty affable cat, willing to lend an ear when you have something to say. Although it may be difficult to tell if she's listening, as there will be little to no commentary on her end, unless you press her for it. She won't often say much, and when she does, she'll be actively trying to find that happy medium between being honest and upsetting someone. On the flipside, she's not forthcoming about her own thoughts and feelings with just anyone, and is reserved to the point of seeming secretive. She takes a while to open up and can be hard to get to know; she might be a bit too uptight for some cats.

Among those she knows well, it may as well be a whole other story. Not only is she perceptive, she may even communicate her feelings on a matter. Of course, no matter how intuitive she may be, like anybody she can still interpret things incorrectly, which leads to some awkward misunderstandings. But if she feels strongly enough about something, she may even surprise some by gathering up the courage to dissent with another's opinion, even if it's a hard truth to swallow.

If you truly want to see her relaxed however, you'll have to catch her outside of camp. It's there, out of the range of any judgmental eyes, whether real or perceived, that she can be herself. What she most enjoys is going on hunting patrols where she can survey the land and test her brain by pursuing the trickiest of prey. Or sometimes, she just wanders off for a stroll. After all, what could be better than just taking the time to get some fresh air, away from duties and expectations?

The she-cat certainly doesn't intentionally seek out conflict, rather she tends to try and avoid it. But this in of itself could be a point of contention between her and her clanmates. Maybe she needs to grow a thicker skin, and how did she get to be a warrior with such poor fighting skills?

In all honesty, she doesn't bother because she's well aware of her shortcomings. Why bring attention to them when she can serve her clan to the best of her ability by doing other things? But maybe that's not enough for some cats, for instance: her mentor, or other older warriors who observed her training. Or maybe there's somone within her own age group that gives her a hard time, she may have even trained with this cat as an apprentice.

Or perhaps there's a cat out there who took issue with Mossflower's adoption of the sisters. How dare she jeopardize the welfare of clanborn kits? The sheer principle of taking in outsiders might be enough to ruffle some cats' fur.  Amberwhisker may have managed to become a warrior, but she still has non-clan blood, after all. Do her loyalties truly lie in SkyClan?

Amberwhisker would be very shy about romance at first, but after mulling it over for a while she'd probably warm up to the idea. Not one to simply jump into relationships, she likely wouldn't respond well to someone who's overly forward.

There's not much set in stone here, so go ahead and suggest something I guess.
