Everyone knows that Ruststar isn't on the best of terms with Skyclan, but what happens when Ruststar's ire is all the most recent batch of apprentices know? Certainly, she's encouraged them to test the borders and occasionally steal prey, but nothing big— but this time, a group of apprentices have decided to impress their leader and mentors by going one step further.
Its time to invade Skyclan.
There's just one catch, though: on the Windclan apprentices' way to invade Skyclan and take some of their prey, a Skyclan patrol catches their scent and moves quickly to oust the interlopers. Caught in the middle of trespassing without their mentors' permission, the Windclan apprentices have two main options: get into a scrap with older warriors and their potential apprentices, or high tail it out of there before they can get into too much trouble.
Option 1. The two rival clans clash on the scene. There is a heated dispute, during which several cats from either side get their butts kicked Eventually, one or both of the patrols are forced to give way, and after a brief skirmish, the two clans part ways for the time being. Consequences for both clans / individuals inside of them vary based on what occurs.
Option 2. Rather than abruptly engaging each other, the patrols attempt to handle things with words and diplomacy. Whether or not the conversations had are enough to discourage violence is up to the players!
Option 3. Hahaha, you thought the apprentices would stick around to see how angry Mothstar and/or her warriors would be? Nope! Summoning the zoomies young cats are known for, the apprentices hightail it back to Windclan's borders... where a few warriors and Ruststar have headed to try and track down the multitude of missing apprentices who may or may not be shirking their duties.
Key Points - This plot is meant to stimulate inter-clan dynamics some more. The more interaction seen between Windclan and Skyclan, the better. Ideally we might see some skirmish threads going down, and some long-term tensions that arise. Idk, interesting shit.
- The participants are welcome to take this any direction that they want. This is just a starting base.
- This is not just for a few people in each clan. This is something that could affect the entire clan, especially in Skyclan and Windclan’s case. With that in mind, if you have a cat in either of those clans, please feel free to participate, mention, recognize, etc. this series of threads and plot.

sign rainpaw up! she's likely to go along just because another apprentice told her to and she'll fight viciously - but not very well, being only six moons old - to protect her clanmates. especially sedgepaw, if he comes along.
being among the youngest and most inexperienced of the windclan cats but also completely inconsiderate of her own health and unlikely to back down, rainpaw is likely to get her butt totally kicked. want to kick rainpaw's butt? i'm up for it.

i'd say for sure sign up crowstep for the option three patrol. he can complain voluminously the entire time that they're looking for the apprentices and spice it up beyond the stress of having to figure out where all the apprentices ran off to. if nectarfang happens to get involved in the patrol then crowstep could also bicker with her especially.

I've got Emberpaw for WC apprentice group. She's an instigator type and would likely be one of the leading offenders / someone that dragged others along with her. I'm d10-ing everything with her, so I have no idea how she's going to perform.
I've also got Liontooth for Skyclan. He's a ball of rage and will be v-happy to beat up other cats. If anyone wants pretty bad to serious damage done, he's your cat.
If more adults end up being needed for WC, toss Briarfoot in there, too. He's a young dopey dude but he'll do what he can to help.

sharkpaw is awful and will probably be down for TAKING BACK THEIR LAND!!! and then probably get her sorry butt kicked because she doesn't know when enough is enough.
for the option three patrol, willowblaze would be very concerned about missing apprentices. however, since I've got sharkpaw, if there get to be too many cats in the patrol, willow can get tossed out!

He probably would be scared witless about the whole idea,
but he'd let himself be dragged along.
Heck, he'd even talk himself up and say that's exactly what Ruststar wanted of them!

If there's no one else who would like to hop in, I can put up a very short starter with weather details and etc for people to respond to! Alternatively, if someone else wants to get a starter going, then they're welcome to do so as well!
I figure that we can probably decide as we go which of the options will occur?
