Failure to Thrive, patrol.
-*-Happens After Kit Issue-*-
With much encouragement to return to the warrior's den, Silverflower hesitantly agreed to attend a few patrols. Two were hunting patrols, and the third would be a border patrol. Assigned to patrol the Shadowclan border with a party from Thunderclan, all seems well, until the patrol lingers to allow the queen to take in her surroundings and learn the new placement of their borders.
The Shadowclan patrol came from the opposite direction, and hackles began to rise as the cats drew nearer and nearer. With neither group wanting to leave--lest the other clan try to push the border once they had left, knowing they wouldn't return for quite some time--tensions eventually come to a head and erupt in conflict.
option 1. The conflict isn't so bad-- it's more along the lines of harsh words and arguing. However, as two warriors get particularly heated, Silverflower tries to intervene to settle things down and ends up being struck. This either prompts an actual skirmish or the patrols quickly part ways, fearing it may lead to open warfare if they don't leave pronto.
option 2. The conflict does turn into a skirmish fairly early on. As both patrols are rather small, it's nothing major or anything that would leave someone with permanent injuries or fatalities. A winning clan eventually emerges, the losing clan leaves the scene first.
option 3. Idk I mean plot stuff help me come up with things I just need something for Silverflower to make her v-anxious about returning to the warriors den, because I wanna see how she comes out of it. Y'all can turn this any direction you want and make whatever happen. It can even be more major if someone wants it to be, idk.

Aspenpaw for the ThunderClan patrol? I'd like her to see some action, maybe have a chance to gain some confidence or to be utterly destroyed. Y'know, whichever. (If there are too many TC and not enough SC I can switch for Foxtail. I could see him getting a little too aggressive, wanting to show his loyalty to his Clan, and maybe starting something.)

can brackenfang have come along on the tc patrol? i know med cats dont usually, but he may have wanted to gather some herbs nearby the border so went along with them. or perhaps he just volunteered to get to go on a patrol for once. he did earn hos -fang suffixfo r his decent hunting and fighting skill, after all. mostly id just like him to get a chance to try out his diplomacy skills (lol!) and also to help out if any cat gets injured! additionally volepaw for the sc patrol- and perhaps if there is a skirmish, he could be injured (even severely enough to be unconscious, if necessary - though not mortal or anything!!) so that silverflower might be more horrified to see such a lil scrap hurt? idk - just an idea! if you wanted she could even be the one to hurt him and just not realize she hit him so hard or whatever (he would likely charge right into attacking a warrior by himself, and his violent attack patterns could mean she had to defend herself? ) up to you tho just thought id offer it as an idea  if u like the idea but dont want silverflower to atk him maybe another tc cat, but either way, offer still stands! just... np death pls. lol. |

i'll volunteer onyxfeather for the shadowclan patrol.
he probably wouldn't instigate, but he'd certainly defend the border by any means necessary.

Pricklepaw for the ShadowClan patrol maybe? I know there's another apprentice in there already, but he's really grumpy so he'd be quick to get heated (at least with words) and isn't above being sarcastic and a little sharp-tongued.

hey i mentioned this in the other thread, but i thought i'd bring it up here too. since there is going to be some (alleged) kit-stealing happening here, i was thinking this possible-skirmish might happen after the kits are back home? i think tensions would be much more rigid after that whole ordeal, and i think shadowclan's trust in thunderclan would be rather disintegrated at that point.
additionally, i'd love if both of these events happened before the gathering so that some dire threats can be made publicly haha.

Updated! All that sounds good, the timing part, too. We still have room for one more SC kitty, but if we can't grab one before this plot takes off, then I'll just fill it with Batheart or something.
