RUSTSTAR
LEADER OF WINDCLAN / SHE-CAT / 40 MOONS / SINGLE / DEMIROMANTIC BISEXUALAYYYYY so this is ruststar, obviously, and she's kind of a dick but she tries really hard to work for the best of her clan. while aggressive and prone to acting before she thinks through the consequences, she doesn't waste life and dislikes leting others suffer; if you're going to kill something (or someone), after all, you should at least do a clean job of it.
currently, i'd really like to get more threads with her clanmates going, especially the apprentices because after swallowheart's death, she's been wistful of the other mentors (Which comes out more like GRUMPY GRUMP DID YOU TAKE THEM OUT HUNTING YET. NO? WELL ILL TAKE THEM SINCE YOU HAVENT GRUMBLE) but is horribly scared of watching one of them die again, so she hasn't taken any new apprentices since. also, she's awful at giving out compliments and makes them sound really condescending even when she means them sincerely, so that's always amusing.
bickering with the other clanleaders is also a grand idea— particularly with thunderclan and skyclan, since those are undesirables no. 1 and no. 2 on her hit list. i'd like to organize a raid once windclan has more a medicine cat, so if anyone would like to get involved with that let me know! ;D
i'm also open to plots that aren't listed! i'm flexible and really want to be accessible to everyone, so if you have an idea and want to throw it at me, please do! ;w;

nectar and rust also would be very interesting if interacting w each other i think! since you mentioned apprentices as well, maybe nectarfang is taking rainpaw on some kind of training, and ruststar is sitting in? or perhaps nectarfang is simply solo hunting and ruststar stumbles across her? idk!
it might also be nice if sedgepaw and ruststar could have some sort of positive interaction (even if ruststar is a lil awkward or condescending.) considering his dad has abandoned him and his mother is long since dead, i think sedgepaw would take any sort of compliments or positiveness he received no matter how double-edged it might be. he might latch onto the idea of impressing ruststar if she ever showed any sort of interest at all in his training, bcoz he's really really desperate for praise and reinforcement which he doesn't always tend to get. (he'd probably justify it to himself as just wanting to be the best and being inspired by her, but in truth, he'd only really want to be told he mattered)

we've already discussed rainpaw and ruststar in skype but i thought i would talk about it here too. rainpaw has some conflicted feelings towards ruststar that honestly surprised me and that i found really interesting - her jealousy towards her for being chosen by starclan and having 'something rainpaw lacks' verse rainpaw's loyalty to her as clanleader. and then 'you're not good at compliments ruststar', which is just funny. basically ruststar needs to be an awkward mommy goose to all the apprentices in windclan, leading them all along to harass the other clans and hiss like little goslings.
ASIDE FROM RAINPAW we need to get ruststar vs heronstrike. we already discussed giving ruststar some badass scars and i totally volunteer heronstrike for tribute. maybe he gets twitchy about some of the apprentices that look suspiciously not windclan like, like sharkpaw and her brother if auber is ok with that, and starts hinting about maybe coming sniffing around for them and ruststar is like AW HELL NAW and they get into a fight and she kicks his ass and he gets in some good punches and it's all nice and bloody and everyone goes limping home to their medicats and cardinalstar is like wtf heronstrike ur grounded.
FINALLY we need to get dahlia and ruststar into a thread because bad bitches

dev — YEAAAAAAAHHH i think nectar and rust would be pretty good buds tbh, since they're both sort of the "steamroll others who get in your way bc GOALS. DOMINATION. GO FIGHT WIN." personality types. i think she'd be more willing to team up with nectar than most cats and would probably consider her someone a) very trustworthy and b) who will get shit done ayyy. we could do a thread with them going out on a border patrol, maybe, or ruststar sort of awkwardly tagging along to live vicariously through nectar mentoring rain? ruststar isn't the sort to give people pep rallies, but she definitely tries to give the apprentices praise when they've earned it. GRANTED, she has high standards, but she's fair in her rewards. i imagine that as time goes on, she'll get a bit more attached to sedge and rain and would react very negatively towards their father if she found out that he'd neglected them and raised them poorly. physical abuse is easiest for her to understand, so emotional abuse would take a connection with someone before she could really "get" why it was wrong and how it had negatively affected someone. ----- pumpkin — yes to all of this but especially dahlia and ruststar making a deal for dahlia to cause chaos in skyclan. like maybe ruststar pays her off with free medical services and permission to take a piece of prey on windclan turf every other day?? either way, ruststar would totally be willing to set dahlia loose on skyclan and kick back with a couple beers and popcorn like "heck yea, what now suckers". i really, reaaaaalllyyyy want some heronstrike/ruststar drama tho so we should have something happen either on the borders or during the gathering re:halfclan cats so we can set the stage for them getting into deep shit with each other before slinking home to sulk and have their wounds tended to. i bet rust whines so fucking much to willow too just like HVDU HERONSTRIKE FROTHS SCRMS THOSE ARE MY KITS CAN YOU BELIEVE HIM, WILLOWBLAZE, WE'RE GONNA SMASH THEM. HULK ANGRYYYY, HULK SMAAAAASH.

Hey hi! Right now I've got two cats in WC and I'm itching for more RP. briarfoot is an at times annoyingly honest and optimistic cat with a messed up face. He's pretty awesome at hunting. I'm really not sure what you're looking for plot wise, but, uhm... I volunteer him for anything you want?? emberpaw is one of the apprentices that's starting some shit at the borders. She's known for being incredibly good at getting her way. She's my d10 baby, so I really don't know how she's going to develop further beyond what's in her application. She's apprenticed to Russetface, and he's weirdly, possessively obsessed with her but in a... not dangerous sort of way? Idk, maybe over time this becomes more obvious and there's concern that something inappropriate is going down, and ruststar is like, "oh hell nah what's happening here" and then more stuff happens, idk. Liontooth is a rather infamous cat from Skyclan. He's one of their senior warriors and known for having an incredibly volatile nature and a very dangerous temper. He suffers from black out rages when triggered... which is pretty easy most days. Ticking time bomb pretty much. His son, Boulderface, died because of an infected wound he received from a Windclan cat. Liontooth hates every single other clan besides Skyclan. Because he lost his children, his mate, siblings, etc., to hardship and then to these other clans, Liontooth sees no reason why Windclan (and all the rest) shouldn't lose their kits, mates, friends, and families, too. He will kill other kitties if given the opportunity, so watch out for him, he's bad news. I'm volunteering him for any past incidents or future plots. coalgaze is the last I really have any ideas for, he's the TC deputy. Interestingly enough-- Coalgaze is not very fond of Foxstar or the alliance he made with Skyclan. He thinks it was a bad decision and not worth the risks and the position it put TC in with the other clans. However, he's very duty bound and everything he does, he does for Thunderclan... and he would do anything for it. Right now he's struggling with trying to make sure no shit storms start, but maybe the discourse between coal and fox could become known to rust somehow, and she could, uh... well, whatever she would do with what information, I guess. firedream is the medi-cat of SC though so I mean they'd know each other. Fire's very gentle and blind as a bat and tends to be rather quiet. He had a dream about Skyclan's arrival and told Boarstar about it, but I'm not sure if the information made it out of Shadowclan. I doubt it would have. Maybe that becomes known and it causes frowny faces because "gdi if we knew about it before hand, we could have stopped it before it started" or something like that? Whatever you want, I'm game for anything with any of my characters. |
