LILACPAW AGE six moons
GENDER male
CLAN windclan
RANK apprentice
SHORT DESCRIPTION a small lilac furred tom with green eyes.
APPEARANCE due to his birth, lilacpaw has always been a rather small feline. even without true windclan heritage, he fits their sleek looking build and although he doesn’t have the strongest muscles, he hasn’t got far into his apprentice training. not quite the sight to stand out in crowds, lilacpaw is a muted color of lavender which was what he was named after and his pale green hues are only meant for beauty and to give him eyesight.
PERSONALITY since he was a kit, lilacpaw has been a
courteous and
subdued individual, always thanking the elders for their stories and thoughtful before he’d share his own. in fact, lilacpaw is a strict follower of the warrior code, hardly having any means to break it. however, he hasn’t been stuck in a life or death situation quite yet. due to his young age, he also tends to
trust heavily. If a cat hasn’t wronged him, he tends to believe every word that comes from their mouth, even if they’re telling him badgers can fly. It’s only when they really hurt him that he pulls away all attachments with such cat.
even though he trusts a lot, lilacpaw is very
doubtful of cat’s sometimes. on his good days, he can sniff out a lie but all that’s really needed is for you to press confirmation onto him to believe it. despite having been raised in windclan all of his life, lilacpaw doesn’t have the grace they do. whether it’s from his real parent’s genetics or something, he’s a very
clumsy cat whom trips over his own two feet half the time. because of this, he’s built up a complex for himself, believing every cat who stares at him since his birth doesn’t like him. over time, lilacpaw has built up
nervous habits such as playing with his ears, over grooming, and nail biting.
HISTORY mickey always had his troubles with the clans, whether it be stealing prey or impregnanting she-cats. he’d always been a ladies man, having no troubles in connecting with a she-cat and having her bear his kits. because of his jumping around, he’d never had the chance to fall in love. as far as he’d been certain, it wasn’t something he wanted. until he met a gorgeous lilac furred she-cat of the name tinsel that he immediately began to court. as always, mickey stayed with the she-cat, keeping up the façade until they reported they were accepting. this time, however, tinsel didn’t. she knew of his ways but had let herself fall under his spell in hopes he could change.
so, the she-cat began to try and hide her pregnancy by only eating what was necessary. it worked. she barely grew anything but for a meager bulge in her belly, something mickey hadn’t noticed in his nights with her. unknown to her, the tom was finding himself entranced by the she-cat, finding himself falling for her when he knew he shouldn’t. when tinsel’s kits came, her moons of self-starvation caught up to her at last. the beautiful queen, too weak to kit, died halfway through the process. the first two kits were stillborn and pitifully small, the third and fourth were two tom’s that resembled each other and their mother heavily, born extremely feeble and tiny. they would never grow very big, but at the sight of her kits, tinsel’s eyes lit up.
the single thing she had mickey promise her was that he would raise their kits, raise them and let them survive.
as it turns out, mickey couldn’t keep that promise. having no choice but to leave the she-cat’s body for the time being, mickey knew he had to give the kits milk and he wasn’t the sort of cat to do that. instead, he took the two of them towards the clans, a place that he knew that they had a chance of surviving without him. although it ached, losing five cats that he knew he could’ve spent a life with if they both would have shared their secrets, mickey knew he wasn’t destined for that life style now. waiting at the border of windclan for a short time, when mickey could scent a group of cats, he set his two sons out in the open.
when windclan found the two kits abandoned at their border, the scent of a loner around them, they were wary about the kits but if they were abandoned, they’d make good warriors, right? besides, they were kits. luckily for tinsel and mickey’s two sons, they were immediately taken by two toms, mousefern and shrubfur, who had been wanting to have kits together. allowing a queen to nurse them, the two fathers doted on their kits immediately after naming one lilackit and the other sagekit for their fur.
when the two boys were able to balance on their paws and toddle around camp, the stares they received from their fathers weren’t like anything they got from camp. the stares were harder, after all, these two weren’t clan born. would they make it? they were awfully small. eventually, lilackit began to notice the stares while sagekit remained oblivious to it and still does after they were apprenticed. even without knowing the truth behind his adoption and real mother, lilacpaw wants to become the best warrior he can for windclan.
