with the night sky glittering overhead, the albino she-cat slithered through the quarries with a slow pace. pink eyes searched the rocks ahead of her, looking for the little cave she had discovered early on in her apprentice moons. quillthorn's white pelt stuck out like a star in the sky, but she welcomed it. she bathed in any attention she could grab, which, admittedly, was a lot. the sultry sway of her hips and the confident smirk that held her face in place seemed to act as a magnet for cats of all ages and genders. starlingflight was no different. the young warrior had invited the tom to meet her in the cave for, well, an apology.
the two had a history of intimacy and the black tom had been fuming when she ended it. to be honest, he had grown boring. quillthorn had run off to another cat the next night, an older tom from shadowclan that she couldn't remember the name of. still, she wouldn't turn down any action, and she had figured she'd given her clanmate more than enough space after their escapades. so at dawn she had crawled closer to the dark tom, curling against his side in an invitation. she had promised that she had made a mistake--that she wanted him again. he seemed eager enough, so here she was.
the mouth of the cave quickly came into view and the white she-cat padded inside, plopping down on the cool rock floor. her pink gaze glued to the entrance. quillthorn loved the thrill of seducing almost as much as the act itself. starlingflight would do for the night, but she had no intentions of dragging their interactions on longer. the she-cat had been itching for some action and the black tom had been the easiest option. plus, she figured he was desperate enough to at least play along. she was a fine actress, though, and it would be all the better to get him to believe she was sorry for breaking it off. a sharp purr rumbled her throat, the tip of her tail flicking back and forth. all she had to do was wait.

when tomorrow comes;; the black tom was a small silhouette against the night sky. he was not one to leave the camp that often, he liked his sleep, per say. but, how could he deny a beautiful she cat who seemed like she was interested in him. the white she cat had been with him before, and he had to admit, her sassy and spit-fire attitude was a temptation that he could not pass up. sure, she had cut it off, but she had said she wanted to apologize. who was he to call a lady a liar? his paws moved quick, his mind racing like a love-struck apprentice, seeing his first she cat love. his tail was high behind him, flicking gently in the moonlit breeze. oh, he couldn't wait to see her. his paws drew him to the cave she had whispered against his fur. he could still feel her warm, white fur brushing up against him, her sweet scent penetrating his nostrils and sending him into some emotions he didn't necessarily want. but, once again, he was a gentleman, for the most part. he would not deny a lady in distress. if a night of pleasure was one she called for, who was he to deny her? as the cave came into his view, his paws seemed to spark, an invisible line drawing him to where he knew the lady was waiting. he ducked into the entry, feeling his fur bristle with excitement as he caught her scent in the air. his amber eyes found her pink ones almost instantly, her beautiful white fur captivating him as he moved toward her. the toms heart was racing in his chest, feeling as though it would burst at any given moment. but, he forced himself calm, at least for now. it was pathetic that just her gaze was enough to send him off the railing. oh, so pathetic. running his tongue over his muzzle, he approached her, halting in her space and running his tail down her flank until it met hers, wrapping itself around it. "my lady." he meowed, his voice husky and gruff, trying to hide the intentions he had from his face. words: 363 tag: quillthorn notes: starling bby, you are a pathetic tom. LAIKA OF ADOXOGRAPHY

for a while, it was just the songs of the crickets that kept her company. not that she minded. besides the intimate company of others, quillthorn preferred to spend her time in solitude. she could never find it in her to even pretend to be interested in what others had to say, and hadn't since day one. she vividly remembered her mother reprimanding her for the bored expression that overtook her face when others spoke. since then, she was able to school her features into a more indifferent look, if that was any better. quillthorn enjoyed hiding her emotions. mystery was her middle name.
the albino was ripped out of her brooding by a pair of liquid amber eyes. ah, yes. starlingflight. the smirk returned to quillthorn's maw, and her eyelids slid half-closed as she appraised the tom. while she thought his personality was a bore, making him squirm was half the fun. plus, she got the payment of his body in return. the older warrior was in his prime, fit from his dedication to his clan. a purr rose in her throat at the sight of him. it was going to be a fun night.
starlingflight stepped further into the den, already looking a bit on edge. she could almost feel the nerves and excitement jumping off of his fur. the tip of her tail continued to twitch as he padded closer, locking her pink gaze with his. it was silent for a moment, before the black tom opened his jaws to speak.
"my lady."
quillthorn almost scoffed at this, but choked the sound down. lady? the albino was the very opposite of one. she was blunt and particularly crude with an arsenal of sexual jokes to keep her clanmates on their toes. but she went with it, letting his raspy voice melt over her like a blanket of leaves. his tail glided down her side and for a moment she marveled at the distinct differences of her white and his black. usually, darkness was described as being dangerous. quillthorn thought maybe she could help redefine that stereotype, making others fear her own lightness. after all, there was nothing terrifying about the tom in front of her. the albino rose, pushing her face so close to his that their black and pink noses just brushed.
"you know i don't like to be kept waiting, starlingflight," she purred, baring her teeth for a heartbeat before rubbing the top of her head against his neck. quillthorn stepped closer even, moving down his flank while still keeping contact. the contrast of their fur stuck out as she rested her chin on his back near the base of his tail, pink eyes locking on his face. "what kept you so long?"

WHEN TOMORROW COMES, when the pretty, white she cats gaze locked with his, the tom felt his heart flutter. he knew it was wrong to the want quillthorn, she had a history of being with most of the toms around them, but he couldn't resist the temptation that seemed to wreath from her fur and into his. the two cats were truly emotional opposites. the white she cat was a spit-fire, sassy and ready to make a cat fight for her, then strike them down. starlingflight knew that first hand. while he himself was a gentleman. he liked to please the women, but do it at a kind and charming manner. "you know i don't like to be kept waiting, starlingflight," the white cat purred as she brushed her nose against his. the toms breath hitched in his throat, and he found himself unable to utter anything at all. instead, he stood there, his black fur bristling with nerves and unable to hide his emotions. suddenly her head bumped against his chest and starlingflight was snapped back into the reality by her voice. the tom could feel the she cats fur brushing his as she paced around his body, only stopping when she came to the base of his back where his tail connected, resting her chin on it. what kept you so long?" she had said and the only sound the tom could release was another deep purr from his throat. he could feel her gaze heating up his face and he wasn't sure how he was supposed to react to that. "I..." his voice trailed off as he pondered to dig at a reason. had he truly made her wait a long time? it hadn't felt like that long to him. but, since when was it his right to doubt a woman's opinion? exactly it wasn't. starlingflight swallowed, forcing his fur flat and his frustration to go away before quillthorn was able to see it beneath his mask. "i'm sorry, my love, i must have lost track of the time." he meowed finally, his voice still shaky. he turned his head to see her, his eyes trailing over her milky white fur. his tail twitched, and he swayed it to brush down the she cats neck before resting it at the base of her shoulder blades. he had never been much of an affectionate cat. he seemed to get confused by it. the only cat he had ever truly wanted to be pressed up against had left him behind for his brother, tearing everything about their relationship apart as blacktail took her under his wing. no, love was a silly thing, being with the white woman was just his distraction. "wont happen again." his voice strengthened, the quiver finally gone. starlingtail turned his body around, allowing his tail to drag around the she cats body, stopping when his broad shoulders were pressed against her hips. "so what did you have in mind for tonight?" he purred, his voice laced with temptation as he rubbed his head against the she cats flank. words: 511 tags: quillthorn notes: sorry it's so dialoguey. >.< LAIKA OF ADOXOGRAPHY
