SHORT DESCRIPTION a large black tom with light amber eyes.


PERSONALITY daring: starling-flight is a tom with a lot of guts. he loves to test the limits of others and see how far he can go before he is punished. this has always been a main trait of his, ever since he was in the nursery with his brother. while it can be seen as negative, his daring nature makes him strong and less fearful than the other cats, giving him a strong sense of courage as well. most of the time, this nature is used for the good of his clan, rather than the troublesome acts he committed as a kit. needless to say, he has matured.

intelligent: starling-flight has always been a smart cat. when it comes to planning out battles or hunting techniques, he is a good go-to cat. with his maturity reaching a high, he uses his quick thinking and problem solving skills to work out the best ways to deal with certain situations and is more than willing to offer this advice to his leader, deputy, and medicine cat. while is he can be smart with battles and hunting, he is also good at helping his fellow clan-mates with relationship issues, or whatever else he can assist with.

compassionate: while he can seem a bit touch and full of himself, starling-flight really is a kind cat. he hates to see the ones he loves suffer, and is always ready to cheer them up with some brief affection and fine humor. while he has never taken a mate or truly been 'in love' he has a loyal nature when it comes to those he cares about, and it can truly be seen when he interacts with his younger siblings - tiger-fur, stream-song, and morning-paw.

strict: as i can be seen by his strong intelligence and maturity, starling-flight is not much of a jokester or tolerant cat when it comes to the silly games of apprentices and younger warriors. yes, he was once like them, but he sees it as the sooner they grow up and act like a warrior, the sooner they will become a well respected one. starling-flight is not mean or snappy, but he is stern when it comes to training or something as serious as going to war with other clans. he does not take anything threatening or foolish lightly either, especially with his own apprentices.

arrogant: simply stated, starling-flight knows he is smart. he knows that the clan knows that he is a good cat to go to when they need a technique of some sort, or advice. he holds his head and tail high and will throw himself into things that he feels he is worthy in. he likes to think of himself very respected in his clan, and don't think that he won't hesitate to flash it around to the other cats in his clan, as well as other clans or even loners/kittypets.

unpredictable: don't take this wrong, starling-flight is a loyal warrior to thunderclan. however, he tends to be a little two-faced when it comes to his relationships with other cats. on one side, he is the sweet, compassionate warrior who is willing to offer his advice and help when the clan is in times of need, while he can also be an arrogant prick that is ready to shove others around and tell them how it needs to be. while he is loyal and respectful, there comes times when he can act like he is the leader of the clan, and needs to be shoved down back into his rightful place.


HISTORY 

1. larksong and deerstep of thunderclan became mates.
2. larksong gave birth to two tom kits - black-kit and starlingkit.
3. both toms were postponed their apprentice ceremony for sneaking out of the camp to hunt. during this time, starlingkit had actually caught a small mouse.
4. starlingkit and black-kit finally became apprentices at seven moons. starlingpaw was given the mentor petalbloom and blackpaw, grayheart.
5. the two toms trained side by side until their warrior ceremonies. 
6. starlingpaw became starlingflight and blackpaw became blacktail.
7. starlingflight fell in love with a she cat named applepelt, but she had relations with his own brother, which ripped the tom up inside.
8. blacktail's relationship with applepelt eventually tears the brothers apart, and the two lose most of their strong relationship.
9. larksong has another litter of kits, full siblings to starlingflight. two toms (molekit and tigerkit) and two she kits (pebblekit and streamkit.)
10. pebblekit dies due to a fever the medicine cat could not clear.
11. due to the clans surprise, starlingflight is given streampaw as his first apprentice, even though siblings usually cannot mentor one another.
12. molepaw is killed during a battle skirmish. 
13. streampaw and tigerpaw become streamsong and tigerfur.
14. larksong has her final litter of kits, a single she kit named morningkit. 
15. larksong moves to the elders den once morningpaw is apprenticed.
16. present day.
